Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply to this website, to online estimates, and to the quotations we issue.

Last updated: 12 September 2026

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to the estimates and quotations provided through it by PrimeSeal Restorations.

Where we carry out work for you, the terms in your accepted written quotation apply to that work and prevail over anything on this page to the extent of any inconsistency.

2. The four stages, and what each one means

It matters which stage you are at, because only one of them is binding on either of us.

  • Online estimate: an indicative range generated by the calculator on this website from the information you enter. It is not an offer, not a quotation and not binding on either party.
  • Site inspection: an attendance to establish the actual cause and extent of the problem. Where an inspection fee applies it is stated before we attend.
  • Formal written quotation: a fixed, itemised offer to carry out a defined scope of work for a stated price. This is the document that matters.
  • Accepted scope of works: the quotation once you have accepted it in writing. That accepted scope defines what we will do and what you will pay.

3. Online estimates

Online estimates are indicative only and are based on the information you provide. Site conditions, access, existing damage, substrate condition, the source of water penetration and the required repair method may affect final pricing. A formal written quotation will be provided before work proceeds.

The estimator cannot see your property. It cannot identify the source of a leak, the condition of a substrate, or what sits beneath your tiles. Do not make financial or contractual decisions on the basis of an online estimate alone.

4. Quotations

Written quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless stated otherwise on the quotation itself.

A quotation is based on the scope described in it and on the conditions observed or reported at the time. It does not include work outside that scope.

Commercial pricing is subject to a site inspection in every case. Any figure provided before that inspection, including an online estimate, is indicative only, is not a quotation, and is not binding. A written quotation for commercial work is issued only once we have attended and assessed the site.

Prices are inclusive of GST unless stated otherwise.

5. Variations

Sometimes conditions are found during the work that could not reasonably have been identified beforehand, such as a failed membrane behind a wall, an unexpected substrate, hidden damage, or tiles that lift during grout removal.

Where that happens we will stop, tell you what we have found, and provide a written variation setting out the additional scope and cost. We will not proceed with additional chargeable work without your approval.

6. What we do not warrant

Water ingress can have multiple causes. Surface grout or sealant remediation may not resolve leaks caused by failed membranes, plumbing faults, structural movement or other concealed defects. We will recommend further investigation where appropriate.

We do not warrant that surface remediation will resolve every leak. Where we consider a problem is likely to have a cause we cannot address from the surface, we will say so and recommend further investigation.

Colour matching to existing aged grout, and matching of replacement tiles, cannot be guaranteed.

7. Warranty and consumer guarantees

Any warranty we offer on a particular job is set out in your written quotation for that scope of work. Ask us about it when we quote.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies the consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law, which apply to our services and cannot be contracted out of. Our warranty is in addition to those guarantees and does not replace or limit them.

8. Access, site conditions and your obligations

  • You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the work area at the agreed time.
  • Where a tenant occupies the property, access arrangements are as set out in the work request.
  • Please clear the work area of personal items before we attend. We are not responsible for items left in the work area.
  • Curing and drying times must be observed. Using a wet area before the stated curing time is the most common cause of premature failure and is not covered by any warranty.

9. Cancellation

If you need to cancel or reschedule a booking, please give us as much notice as you can. Where we attend at an agreed time and cannot gain access, a call-out charge may apply.

10. Payment

Payment terms are set out on your quotation and invoice. Where a deposit is required it will be stated on the quotation before you accept it.

11. Website content

The content on this website is provided for general information. It is not professional advice about your specific property, and it should not be relied on as a substitute for an inspection.

We take care to keep the site accurate but do not warrant that it is free of errors or that it will be continuously available.

12. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, and subject to the consumer guarantees referred to above, our liability in relation to the services is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and the courts of Western Australia have jurisdiction.
