How PrimeSeal Restorations collects, uses and protects the information you send us.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy explains how PrimeSeal Restorations handles personal information collected through this website and in the course of providing our services.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, to the extent they apply to us.

2. We do not keep a database or a customer records system

Your enquiry reaches us as an email. We keep no database, no customer records system and no photo library, because there is no system here for us to put them in. It does pass through our website host and our email provider on the way, and each holds it briefly to deliver it. Once it arrives, that email is the only copy we hold, and we use it to prepare your quotation and then to carry out the work if you go ahead.

We do not operate a customer relationship management (CRM) system, a job-management platform, or any other system that builds a profile of you over time. There is no customer login, no account and no stored history on this website.

Your enquiry does pass through other hands on its way to us. It is received by our website host and carried by our email provider, and each of them holds it for as long as it takes to do that job. We do not control how long that is, and we describe who they are in section 8. What we can tell you is that we make no copy of it into any system of ours.

Your photographs are not saved into any system of ours. They arrive as attachments on the enquiry email, we read them to price the work, and they stay in that email.

  • No database: we operate none, and we store no record of your enquiry
  • No CRM or job-management system, and nothing is forwarded to one
  • No photo library or file storage: your photos stay in the enquiry email
  • No customer accounts, logins or profiles
  • No selling, renting or sharing of your information for marketing

3. How long we keep it, and why that is the quotation

The purpose we collect your information for is to quote the work, and then to carry it out if you accept. Once a quotation has been declined, has expired or has been completed and invoiced, the information has served its purpose.

What remains after that is the enquiry email itself, and our records of work done and invoiced. We are required to keep those business records, because Australian tax law generally requires records to be kept for five years, and our insurer requires records of work performed. We do not keep anything beyond what those obligations and the work itself require.

If you would like your enquiry email deleted and there is no quotation or job that depends on it, ask us and we will delete it. Your photographs are attachments on that email, so deleting it deletes them too. There is no separate copy for us to go and find.

4. What we collect

We collect only what we need in order to respond to your enquiry, quote the work and carry it out. Depending on which form you use, that may include:

  • Your name, email address and phone number
  • The property address or suburb the work relates to
  • A description of the problem, and photographs you choose to upload
  • Your preferred contact method and timeframe
  • For property managers: agency name, property manager name, purchase order number, tenant contact details you supply, and access instructions
  • For commercial enquiries: company name, site address, site access requirements and scope information
  • For NDIS-related enquiries: participant name, contact person, funding management type, and plan manager or support coordinator name where you provide them

5. What we deliberately do not collect

Our NDIS-related enquiry form does not ask for diagnosis, disability, health or medical information, and we ask that you do not include it. We only need enough information to understand and price the property maintenance work.

We do not collect government identifiers, payment card details or bank details through this website.

6. Tenant and third-party information

Property managers and agencies sometimes provide tenant contact details so that we can arrange access. If you provide someone else’s personal information to us, you are confirming that you are authorised to do so and that the individual is aware their details may be given to a contractor for the purpose of arranging access.

We use tenant details only to arrange and carry out the requested work, and we do not add them to any marketing list.

7. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unrelated to your enquiry without your consent.

  • To respond to your enquiry and provide a quotation
  • To arrange access, schedule attendance and carry out the work
  • To send you a copy of your estimate or quotation
  • To invoice for completed work and maintain business records
  • To meet our legal, tax and insurance obligations

8. Who we share it with

This website runs on third-party providers for hosting and email delivery. Your enquiry passes through their systems on the way to us, and each of them handles it only to carry or store it.

That part is automated. The form submits, the systems pass the enquiry along, and it arrives. Nobody at the business sorts, opens or forwards it by hand on the way, and no individual is involved in moving it. A person reads it only at the end, to price the work and reply to you.

Those providers operate under their own privacy policies and their own data handling arrangements, published on their own websites, and some of them operate outside Australia. We do not control any of that. We take reasonable steps to ensure they handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

We do not use file storage, a CRM, or a marketing platform. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information, and we do not disclose it to anyone for their own marketing purposes. We may disclose it where we are required or authorised to do so by law.

9. Photographs

By uploading photos you consent to us using them to assess the work and prepare your quotation. That is the only thing we use them for. We will not publish them or use them in marketing without asking you first and getting your agreement in writing.

Your photos travel with your enquiry email and stay in that email. We do not save them to a file store, a photo library, a job-management system or a project folder, and we do not add them to a customer record, because we have none of those things.

Please check each photo before you send it. Photograph the work area, not the household, and crop out anything you would not want us to see, including documents, screens, mail, people and valuables. We do not ask for that information and we do not need it. You are responsible for what you choose to include, and we are not responsible for confidential information you send us that we did not ask for. This does not affect our responsibility for the photos once we hold them, or any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

10. Cookies and analytics

This website does not set advertising cookies. If website analytics is enabled, it is used only to understand how the site is used in aggregate, meaning which pages are visited and which forms are completed, and is configured not to be used for advertising.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. The website will continue to function.

11. Security, and the limits of what we can promise

Holding almost nothing is the main way we protect your information: there is no database to breach, no photo library to expose and no customer records system to compromise. We take reasonable steps to protect the email we do hold, including access controls on the mailbox.

Our providers hold your enquiry only as long as they need to deliver and store it. How long that is, and how they secure it, is governed by their own data handling policies rather than by us. We can tell you who they are, but we cannot set their retention on your behalf.

Information sent over the internet or by email travels outside our control, and no method of transmission is completely secure. We take reasonable steps to protect what you send us, but we cannot guarantee the security of information while it is in transit, and we are not responsible for interception, loss or delay occurring on networks or email services we do not operate. Please send only what is needed to quote the work, and do not send identity documents, payment card or bank details, or health information through this website. We do not ask for them and do not need them. Nothing in this statement limits any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12. Please do not send us more than we need

We ask for a name, a contact detail, a location and a description of the problem. That is what quoting tiling and waterproofing work requires.

Please do not send us identity documents, driver licences, passports, payment card or bank details, or health, medical or disability information. We do not ask for them, we do not need them to quote, and sending them creates a risk for you that the work itself does not require. If you send us something we did not ask for, we will delete it.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
